BaselHack processes data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union. BaselHack treats all personal information and transmitted data with the utmost care. The collected data may be used for the further development of the website, but this always happens while respecting digital personal rights. An analysis and tracing of the transmitted data back to the individual is solely for the operation and further development of the platform. Data is transmitted using SSL encryption wherever possible, with the certificate provided by the certificate issuer "Let's Encrypt." User data is also stored encrypted within the website's database.

Intellectual Propery / Rights

Participation in BaselHack is as an individual, and all created content, including solutions, ideas, product code, or prototypes, remains the property of the creators. BaselHack does not retain any exclusive access to the intellectual property.

Minors / Minimal Age

Regulation for participation in the event for minors and individuals not of legal age: Participation in BaselHack requires the consent of the parents or legal guardian. For individuals who have not yet reached legal age, the BaselHack association requests written consent from the parents or legal guardian to be brought to the event. This consent will be checked at the entrance.
